Trista’s goal is to support others in living a healthy and good life. She believes that nourishment isn’t simply planning your next meal – it’s implementing healthy lifestyle practices that are sustainable and healing for multiple dimensions of health: physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual.
She received a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Human Nutrition at the University of Guelph, a graduate certificate in Workplace Wellness, and a Master’s degree in Nutrition Communication at Ryerson University. She’s trained in diverse settings, including hospitals, family health teams, community health centres, health technology startups, and nutrition consulting companies. Her training and dedication to ongoing professional development equips her with a constantly evolving body of knowledge, skills, and experience to support clients to create nutrition strategies that work for them.
Trista practices with a client-centered approach, respecting the culture, practices, and unique challenges of each client. She also incorporates Health at Every Size principles into her practice, based on the idea that people of all sizes deserve equal care, respect, and good health.
